4. Setup

- Attaching the Charger Base: Secure the single unit drop-in charger base to the mounting bracket using the appropriate hardware.
- Connecting Power: Insert the vehicle power adapter into a 12V – 24V outlet in your vehicle. Connect the other end of the power adapter to the charger base.
- Inserting Adapter Cup: Ensure the correct adapter cup for your Simoco SRP9130 radio is securely placed in the charger base.
5. Operating Instructions
- Placing the Radio/Battery: Carefully insert your Simoco SRP9130 radio with its battery, or a standalone battery, into the adapter cup on the charger base. Ensure it is seated correctly and makes proper contact with the charging terminals.
- Monitoring Charge Status: Observe the LED indicator on the charger.
- Solid Red: Charging in progress.
- Flashing Green: Approximately 80% charged.
- Solid Green: Fully charged.
- Automatic Recharging: The smart charging technology will automatically prevent over-charging. If the radio remains powered on while in the charger, the system will provide automatic recharging as needed to maintain a full charge.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the charger and its contacts with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
