Setup (Installation)
Installation of the KUCACCI Smart Door Lock is straightforward and typically takes around 5 minutes with a screwdriver. No additional drilling or wiring is required for compatible American standard doors.
1. Check Door Dimensions
Ensure your door meets the following specifications for compatibility:
- Door thickness: 1-3/8" to 2-1/2" (35mm-50mm)
- Hole in the door: 2-1/8" (54mm)
- Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm-70mm)
- Hole in the door edge: 1" (25mm)

2. Install Deadbolt and Strike Box
Install the deadbolt on the door using screw A. Ensure the deadbolt is always kept in the "PULL IN" position and the "TOP" marking is at the top. Install the strike and strike box on the door frame using screw A.

3. Install Exterior Assembly
Install the waterproof rubber plate to the exterior assembly. Align and pass the spindle of the exterior assembly through the hole on the deadbolt. The cable goes through the hole below the deadbolt.

4. Install Interior Assembly and Batteries
Connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly. Secure the interior assembly to the door. Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment. Batteries are not included.
It is recommended to install and test the lock with the door open to avoid being locked out. Do not install the batteries before installing the lock.

The KUCACCI Smart Door Lock offers various convenient methods for unlocking and managing access.
Multiple Unlocking Methods
- Fingerprint: Use the integrated fingerprint reader for quick and secure access.
- Keypad Passcode: Enter your personalized passcode on the illuminated keypad.
- Key Fob: Tap the provided key fob against the lock for instant unlocking.
- Physical Key: Use the traditional physical key as a backup or primary unlocking method.

Auto-Lock and One-Touch Locking
The lock can be configured to automatically lock after a set period via the app. For manual locking, simply long-press the checkmark (✓) button on the keypad for 3 seconds.

Remote Control and Passcode Generation (with G2 Gateway)
By pairing your smart lock with a KUCACCI G2 Gateway (sold separately), you can connect the lock to Wi-Fi, enabling remote control from anywhere. This includes generating one-time or timed passcodes remotely for guests or service providers.

Battery Replacement
The lock requires 4 AA batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an alert. To replace batteries, remove the interior assembly cover, replace the old batteries with new ones, and secure the cover.

Emergency Power
In case of complete battery depletion, the lock features a Type-C USB emergency charging port. Connect a portable power bank to this port to temporarily power the lock and gain access.

Weather Resistance
The lock is IP66 waterproof, designed to withstand extreme temperatures (-22℉ to 158℉). Regular cleaning of the exterior with a soft, damp cloth is recommended to maintain its appearance and functionality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
