- Use only embossed vacuum sealer bags.
- Ensure the bag is clean and dry inside the sealing area.

- For moist foods, wipe away any excess liquid from the inside of the bag near the sealing area.

Figure 6.1: Step-by-step guide for vacuum sealing.
6.2. Automatic Vacuum Sealing (Dry Mode)
This mode is suitable for dry foods such as grains, nuts, and dried fruits.
- Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum channel, ensuring it is flat and smooth. The bag should be under the bag stoppers.
- Close the lid firmly until you hear a "clicking" sound on both sides, indicating the latches are engaged.
- Press the "Vac Seal" button. The machine will automatically vacuum the air out of the bag and then seal it.
- Once the process is complete, the indicator light will turn off. Press the release buttons on both sides to open the lid.
- Remove the sealed bag and check the seal.
6.3. Automatic Vacuum Sealing (Moist Mode)
Use this mode for moist or juicy foods like raw meat, fish, or marinated items. This mode uses a slightly different vacuum pressure and sealing time.
- Prepare the bag as described in Section 6.1, paying extra attention to wiping excess moisture from the sealing area.
- Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum channel.
- Close the lid firmly until it clicks.
- Press the "Moist/Dry" button to select the Moist mode (indicator light will show).
- Press the "Vac Seal" button. The machine will automatically vacuum and seal.
- Once complete, release the lid and remove the sealed bag.
6.4. Pulse Function (Manual Control)
The Pulse function allows you to control the vacuum process manually, ideal for delicate foods like bread, chips, or soft fruits that could be crushed by full vacuum pressure.
- Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum channel and close the lid until it clicks.
- Press and hold the "Pulse" button. The machine will start vacuuming.
- Observe the food in the bag. Release the "Pulse" button when the desired vacuum level is reached.
- Immediately press the "Seal" button to seal the bag.
- Once the seal is complete, release the lid and remove the bag.

- Place the open end of the bag (or the edge of the roll) onto the sealing strip.
- Close the lid firmly until it clicks.
- Press the "Seal" button. The machine will only heat seal the bag.
- Once the seal is complete, release the lid and remove the bag.
6.6. Using the Built-in Cutter
The integrated bag cutter allows you to create custom-sized bags from a roll or trim existing bags.
- Place the bag or roll under the cutter guide.
- Slide the cutter blade across the bag to achieve the desired length.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your vacuum sealer.
- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Vacuum Channel: Clean the vacuum channel and drip tray (if applicable) with a damp cloth or sponge. Ensure it is completely dry before closing the lid.
- Sealing Strip: Gently wipe the sealing strip with a dry cloth. Do not scratch or damage the strip.
- Gaskets: Check the foam gaskets around the vacuum channel and under the lid for food debris or damage. Clean them with a damp cloth. If a gasket is damaged, replace it with the provided extra gasket (see Figure 7.1).
- Storage: Store the appliance in a cool, dry place with the lid unlatched to prevent compression of the gaskets, which can affect sealing performance over time.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your vacuum sealer, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet issue; damaged cord. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged into both the machine and a working outlet. Check circuit breaker. |
| Machine vacuums but does not seal. | Bag not positioned correctly; sealing strip dirty/damaged; lid not fully latched; moist food in sealing area. | Reposition bag. Clean sealing strip. Ensure lid clicks shut on both sides. Wipe excess moisture from bag opening. |
| Machine seals but does not vacuum. | Bag not in vacuum channel; lid not fully latched; vacuum gasket dirty/damaged; bag is not embossed. | Ensure bag opening is fully inside the vacuum channel. Close lid firmly. Clean or replace vacuum gaskets. Use only embossed vacuum bags. |
| Air leaks into the bag after sealing. | Improper seal; puncture in bag; food with sharp edges. | Re-seal the bag. Inspect bag for punctures and use a new bag if necessary. Ensure food edges are covered or padded. |
