3. Setup and Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for this process.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Connect the upholstered side rails to the headboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Ensure the fabric on the frame pieces is facing downwards towards the floor during initial assembly. If holes do not align perfectly, slightly loosen previously tightened screws to adjust.
- Attach Footboard: Connect the footboard to the other end of the side rails using the appropriate hardware.
- Install Center Support Beam: Secure the metal center support beam to the frame. This provides additional stability.
- Place Wooden Slats: Position the wooden slats across the bed frame. The slats feature a Velcro design for faster and more secure fixing. Ensure they are evenly spaced and firmly attached to the side rails. EVA strips are integrated to provide noise reduction for a quiet sleep experience.
- Attach Support Legs: Screw the solid wood square tapered feet into the designated points on the frame, including any central support legs.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and securely tighten all bolts. Do not overtighten.

4. Usage
Once assembled, your VanAcc bed frame is ready for use. Place your mattress directly on the wooden slats. No box spring is needed.

5. Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your bed frame:
- For the corduroy upholstery, gently vacuum with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris.
- Spot clean any spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth and mild soap, then blot dry. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Tighten if necessary.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during assembly or use, consider the following:
- Holes Not Aligning: If some holes appear misaligned during assembly, try loosening previously tightened screws slightly. This often provides enough flexibility to align all parts correctly. Once aligned, tighten all screws securely.
- Squeaking Noises: Ensure all bolts are tightened. The EVA strips on the wooden slats are designed to prevent noise, but loose connections can still cause squeaking.
- Mattress Movement: The bolt-on rail design helps keep the mattress from moving. Ensure your mattress fits the Queen size dimensions of the frame.
