7. Troubleshooting

  • Mouse not responding:
    • Ensure the mouse is charged.
    • Check the connection mode (2.4G, Bluetooth, Wired) and ensure it matches your setup.
    • For 2.4G, try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and re-pair the mouse if necessary.
    • Try connecting in wired mode to confirm basic functionality.
  • Connectivity issues (lag, disconnections):
    • Ensure the 2.4G receiver is not too far from the mouse and there are no obstructions.
    • Avoid placing the 2.4G receiver near other wireless devices that might cause interference.
    • Some users have reported improved stability by using USB 2.0 ports instead of USB 3.0 for the 2.4G dongle.
    • Ensure your device's Bluetooth drivers are up to date.
  • Software not working/updating:
    • Ensure you have downloaded the correct and latest version of the ATTACK SHARK driver software from the official website.
    • Run the software as an administrator.
    • Important: Some users have reported that updating the mouse firmware can brick the device. Proceed with caution and only if absolutely necessary, following official instructions precisely.
    • Consider trying the Kysona M600 mouse software as an alternative if the official software presents issues.
  • Grip tape peeling:
    • Ensure the mouse surface was clean and dry before application.
    • Apply firm pressure when attaching the tape.
    • Replacement grip tape may be available from the manufacturer or third-party sellers.
