Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to correctly install your monitor arm. Ensure your desk is stable and capable of supporting the weight of the arm and monitor.

1. Choose Mounting Option (Clamp or Grommet)

The monitor arm offers two installation methods: desk clamp or through-desk grommet. Select the option best suited for your desk.

  • Desk Clamp: Ideal for desks with edges, allowing easy attachment without drilling. Supports desk thickness from 0.3" to 3.1".
  • Grommet Mount: For desks with a pre-drilled hole or if you prefer a more permanent, flush installation. Supports desk thickness from 0.3" to 1.7".

2. Assemble the Arm

  1. Attach the lower arm to the desk clamp base. Ensure it slides securely onto the stainless steel pin.
  2. Connect the upper arm to the lower arm. It should slide seamlessly into place, allowing for full articulation.

3. Attach VESA Plate to Monitor

Using a Phillips head screwdriver, attach the quick-release VESA plate to the back of your monitor. Ensure the arrow on the back of the bracket points towards the bottom of the monitor. Securely fasten all four screws.

4. Mount Monitor to Arm

Carefully slide the monitor (with the attached VESA plate) onto the quick-release head of the monitor arm. Ensure it clicks into place securely.

5. Adjust Gas Spring Tension

Once the monitor is attached, you will need to adjust the gas spring tension to match your monitor's weight. Hold the arm parallel to the desktop and use the provided Allen key to adjust the tension control screw located on the back of the arm. Turn clockwise to decrease tension (if the monitor rises) or counter-clockwise to increase tension (if the monitor falls).
