Setup and Installation

Firebox Requirements:
- Minimum Firebox Size Required: 20 inches (H) x 28 inches (W at front, 23 inches W at rear) x 15 inches (D).
Log Placement:
The 8 hand-painted ceramic logs are designed to be arranged on the U-burner chassis to create a realistic flame appearance. Refer to the included log placement diagram for optimal arrangement. Proper log placement is crucial for safe and efficient operation.

Operating Instructions
The DLS-30T-2 features a battery-assisted Piezo ignition system and thermostat control for ease of use.
Ignition:
- Ensure the gas supply is open.
- The Piezo ignition requires one AAA battery (included). Follow the instructions in the hardware pack to install the battery and ignite the pilot light.
- Once the pilot is lit, turn the control knob to the desired setting or activate the thermostat.
Thermostat Control:
The integrated thermostat allows you to set and maintain a consistent room temperature. The unit will automatically cycle the burner on and off to achieve and hold the set temperature. There are 5 thermostatic heat settings available.
