Operating Instructions

Ignition:

The unit features battery-assisted Piezo ignition. Ensure the AAA battery for the igniter is correctly installed. Follow the specific ignition sequence outlined in the full manual, typically involving turning the gas valve to the pilot position, pressing and holding the igniter button, and then turning to the ON position once the pilot is lit.

Remote Control Operation:

The included thermostatic remote control allows for convenient operation of your log set. Ensure the receiver box is properly installed and connected, and that the 4 AA batteries are inserted. The remote communicates wirelessly with the receiver to control the burner.

  • Power On/Off: Use the ON/OFF buttons to activate or deactivate the main burner. A standing pilot light allows for remote ignition.
  • Temperature Control: The remote's LCD screen displays the current room temperature (in °F or °C) and allows you to set a desired temperature. The log set will cycle on and off to maintain this setting in Thermostat Mode.
  • Mode Selection: Switch between Thermostat Mode and Manual Mode using the MODE button. In Manual Mode, the flame intensity can be adjusted directly.
  • Flame Adjustment: Use the manual flame adjustment control on the unit or the remote (if applicable) to regulate flame height.
