4. Maintenance
4.1 Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 330 feet (100 meters). This means it is suitable for recreational swimming, showering, and snorkeling. It is not suitable for diving. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water, as this can compromise the water resistance.
4.2 Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. For the resin strap, mild soap and water can be used. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish or strap.
4.3 Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 Product Specific battery (included). When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

5. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not specify a lock function). Try pressing the buttons firmly. If issues persist, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be needed.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in Section 2.2. Ensure you are in the correct 12-hour or 24-hour format.
- Numbers are hard to see with dark background: Some users have noted that the display can be challenging to read in certain lighting conditions due to the dark background. This is a characteristic of the display type and not a defect. Utilize the backlight (EL button) for improved visibility in low light.
- Water inside the watch: If moisture appears inside the watch, stop using it immediately and have it inspected by a professional. This indicates a compromise in the water resistance.
