Introduction

Thank you for choosing the MOON Resea + Mud Combined Stroller. This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper assembly, operation, maintenance, and care of your stroller. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it for future reference.

The MOON Resea + Mud is a versatile and robust stroller system designed for comfort and durability, featuring a bassinet and a reversible sport seat, suitable for children up to 22 kg.

Safety Instructions

• Always ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
• Do not leave your child unattended in the stroller.
• Use the parking brake when parking the stroller.
• Ensure your child is secured with the 5-point harness at all times.
• Do not overload the storage basket. Maximum weight capacity for the basket is typically 3 kg.
• This product is not suitable for running or skating.
• Regularly check all parts for wear and tear. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately.

Setup and Assembly

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check for any damage or missing parts. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.

2. Chassis Assembly

1. Unfold the chassis by releasing the folding lock. Ensure the frame clicks into place securely.
2. Attach the pneumatic wheels. The 8-inch wheels are for the front, and the 11.5-inch wheels are for the rear. Push them onto the axles until they click.
3. Verify that all wheels are securely attached by gently pulling on them.

3. Bassinet Installation

1. Place the bassinet onto the chassis attachment points. Ensure it clicks securely into place on both sides.
2. Confirm the bassinet is firmly attached by lifting it slightly.
3. Install the mattress inside the bassinet.
4. Attach the extendable canopy to the bassinet.

4. Sport Seat Installation

The sport seat can be installed facing forward or backward.

1. To attach, align the sport seat with the chassis attachment points and push down until it clicks securely.
2. To reverse the seat, press the release buttons on both sides of the seat and lift it off. Rotate and reattach in the desired direction.
3. Attach the extendable canopy to the sport seat.
4. Install the removable and 360° swiveling belly bar by clicking it into the designated slots on the seat.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting the Handlebar

The telescopic handle can be adjusted from 89 cm to 103 cm for comfortable pushing. Press the buttons on either side of the handle and extend or retract to the desired height. Release the buttons to lock.

2. Using the Parking Brake

The parking brake is located near the rear wheels. Press down on the brake pedal to engage the brake. Lift the pedal to release. Always engage the brake when the stroller is stationary.

3. Swivel and Lock Front Wheels

The front wheels can swivel 360° for easy maneuverability. To lock them in a straight position for rougher terrain, push down the locking mechanism above each front wheel. Lift to unlock.

4. Adjusting the Sport Seat

• Backrest Adjustment: The backrest has 3 adjustable positions. Locate the recline lever/button on the back of the seat and adjust to the desired angle.
• Footrest Adjustment: The footrest has 3 adjustable positions. Press the buttons on either side of the footrest and move it up or down.
• 5-Point Harness: Secure your child using the 5-point harness. Adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height for your child's comfort and safety. Ensure the harness is snug but not too tight.

5. Canopy and Sun Protection

Both the bassinet and sport seat feature an extendable canopy with UV50+ sun protection. Extend the canopy fully for maximum coverage. The bassinet canopy also includes a sunshade/ventilation screen for optimal air circulation.

6. Folding the Stroller

The stroller is designed to be foldable for compact storage and transport. Ensure the sport seat (if attached) is in the forward-facing position and fully reclined before folding. Follow these steps:

1. Engage the parking brake.
2. Remove the bassinet or sport seat if necessary (some models may fold with the seat attached).
3. Locate the folding mechanisms on the chassis (refer to Figure 3.3).
4. Press the release buttons/levers and push the handlebar forward and down until the chassis folds compactly.
5. Secure the folding lock if available.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning:
  • Fabric parts (bassinet cover, seat cover, canopy) can typically be spot cleaned with a mild detergent and warm water. Refer to the care label for specific washing instructions.
  • The frame and plastic parts can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Wheels: Regularly check the pneumatic tires for proper inflation. Inspect wheels for debris and clean as needed.
• Moving Parts: Periodically lubricate moving parts (e.g., folding mechanisms, wheel axles) with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
• Storage: Store the stroller in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Rain Cover: Use the included rain cover during wet weather to protect the fabric and your child. Ensure the rain cover is dry before storing.
