Cleaning the Laser Lens

Regular cleaning of the laser lens is crucial for maintaining optimal engraving quality and module longevity. Dust and debris can accumulate on the lens, affecting laser performance.

  • Ensure the module is cool and disconnected from power.
  • Use a lint-free cloth or a specialized lens cleaning wipe.
  • Apply a small amount of isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher) to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
  • Gently wipe the lens surface in a circular motion, starting from the center and moving outwards.
  • Avoid touching the lens with bare hands.
  • Clean the lens after every 10-20 hours of operation, or if you notice a decrease in engraving quality.

General Care

  • Store the module in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
  • Avoid exposing the module to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  • Handle the module with care to prevent physical damage.
