Setup

1. Placement

For optimal audio performance, consider the following placement guidelines:

  • Sound Bar: Place the sound bar centrally below your TV. Its ultra-slim design allows it to fit discreetly under most televisions or monitors.
  • Subwoofer: Position the wired subwoofer on the floor, ideally in a corner or near a wall, to enhance bass response. Ensure it is within reach of the sound bar for the wired connection.

2. Connections

The Nova S40 offers multiple connectivity options. Choose the method best suited for your device.

HDMI ARC Connection (Recommended)

  1. Insert one end of the HDMI ARC cable into your TV's HDMI ARC/eARC port.
  2. Insert the other end of the HDMI ARC cable into the sound bar's HDMI ARC port.
  3. On the sound bar remote, press the "ARC" button to select HDMI ARC mode.

Optical Connection

  1. Remove the protective caps from the optical cable.
  2. Insert one end of the optical cable into your TV's Optical OUT port.
  3. Insert the other end of the optical cable into the sound bar's OPT port.
  4. On the sound bar remote, press the "OPT" button to select Optical mode.

AUX Connection

  1. Insert one end of the 3.5mm to RCA audio cable into your TV's AUX OUT port or your PC's audio output.
  2. Insert the other end of the cable into the sound bar's AUX port.
  3. On the sound bar remote, press the "AUX" button to select AUX mode.

Bluetooth 5.3 Pairing

  1. Power on the sound bar.
  2. Press the Bluetooth button on the remote control or the sound bar to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator light will flash.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for "ULTIMEA Nova S40".
  4. Select the sound bar from the list to connect. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing.

Operating Your Sound Bar

Remote Control Functions

The included remote control provides full command over your sound bar's features:

  • Power Button: Turns the sound bar on or off.
