1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your eKids Trolls Band Together Karaoke Machine, Model Wi-554TR. This portable Bluetooth speaker with a wired microphone is designed for children to enjoy singing along to their favorite music. Please read these instructions thoroughly before use and retain them for future reference.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

The karaoke machine features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the small end of the USB cable to the charging port on the back of the unit and the larger end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

3.2 Connecting the Microphone

Plug the wired microphone into one of the two microphone jacks located on the front of the unit. Ensure the microphone's ON/OFF switch is set to 'ON' for operation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button (usually marked with a power symbol) on the front panel to turn the unit ON or OFF.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Turn on the karaoke machine. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select the device named "BT-553" from the list of available devices.
4. Once paired, you will hear an audible confirmation.

4.3 EZ Link Feature

The EZ Link feature allows for quick access to Trolls playlists on your preferred streaming service (app required). After pairing your device via Bluetooth, simply press the dedicated EZ Link Button on the karaoke machine to automatically connect to Trolls music.

4.4 Volume and Echo Control

• Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons to adjust the overall music volume.
• Use the Mic Volume Up (+) and Mic Volume Down (-) buttons to adjust the microphone volume.
• Press the Echo Button to add an echo effect to your singing.

4.5 Multi-colored LED Light Show

The karaoke machine features multi-colored LED lights that synchronize with the music, enhancing the performance experience. The lights activate automatically when the unit is powered on and music is playing.

5. Recording Function

You can record your performances directly onto a USB drive (not included). Insert a USB drive into the dedicated USB port on the front panel. Press the Record Button to begin recording. Press it again to stop. Your recordings will be saved as MP3 files on the USB drive.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials. Ensure all ports are dry before charging or connecting accessories.

7.2 Storage

When not in use, store the karaoke machine in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect the microphone and charging cable before storage.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the unit is fully charged. If the issue persists, try a different USB charging cable or power adapter.
• No Sound: Check the master volume and microphone volume levels. Ensure the microphone is switched ON. Verify that your Bluetooth device is properly paired and playing music.
• Bluetooth Not Connecting: Make sure the karaoke machine is in pairing mode. Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth, then try pairing again. Ensure no other devices are currently connected to the karaoke machine.
• Recording Issues: Ensure a compatible USB drive is inserted and has sufficient free space.
