Setup

1. Charging Your Sunglasses

Before first use, fully charge your Lucyd Smart Sunglasses. Use the provided magnetic charging cable and adapter.

1. Connect the magnetic ends of the charging cable to the charging ports located on the inside of each temple arm of the sunglasses.
2. Connect the USB end of the cable to the provided power adapter, and plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
3. The indicator lights on the temples will show charging status (refer to the full manual for specific light indicators).
4. A full charge typically takes approximately 1-2 hours.

2. Pairing with Your Device (Bluetooth)

1. Ensure your sunglasses are charged.
2. To power on, hold both temple buttons for 7 seconds, or simply remove the glasses from the charger. You will hear an audible "Power On" prompt.
3. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Look for "Lucyd Eyewear" or a similar name in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
5. Once paired, you will hear an audible confirmation. Your sunglasses are now ready for use.

Voice Commands (via Voice Assistant)

Once your voice assistant is activated (double-click Right Temple Button), you can use the following commands:

• "Send a voice message to [Contact]": Begins recording an audio message to be sent to the named contact.
• "Send a text to [Contact]": Begins recording a speech-to-text message to be sent by SMS to the named contact.
• "Call [Contact]": Speed-dials the named contact.
• "Send $100 to [Contact]": This command allows you to send money to an unread contact via Venmo or Apple Pay. Follow the Siri prompts to confirm.
• "What time is it?": Instantly announces the current time.
• "Check my messages": This command will read out your latest incoming text messages and offer a prompt to reply to each. Close out Siri on your phone to end the readout.
• "Call me an Uber": This command will prompt you on which type of Uber ride you want, then ask to confirm to send a car to your location.
• "Check my mailbox": This command will announce your number of unread emails. In the prompt after each one, you can tell Siri "Reply" to dictate an email response to the previous email.
• "Play [Song / Album / Artist]": Begins playing the requested song, album, or artist via Apple Music.
• "Get me directions to [Location]": Begins navigating on phone, with audible directions on glasses.
• "Take a memo": Begins recording a speech-to-text memo in Notes. Say "Read my Notes" to play back.
• "Find [Cuisine Type] Food Nearby": This command will read through a list of nearby restaurants and their ratings, and prompt you for directions or to call after one is read.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your Lucyd Smart Sunglasses, use the provided cleaning cloth. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for eyewear. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Storage

Troubleshooting
