4. Safety Information
Always prioritize safety while riding. Do not operate the intercom in a way that distracts you from the road. Ensure the unit is securely mounted and cables do not interfere with helmet operation or vision. Keep the volume at a level that allows you to hear ambient traffic sounds. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit, as this may void the warranty and pose safety risks.
5. Setup
5.1. Mounting the Intercom Unit
- Choose a suitable location on the left side of your helmet, typically near the chin bar or side.
- Clean the helmet surface thoroughly where the mounting bracket will be attached.
- Attach the mounting bracket base using either the metal clip or the 3M adhesive pad. Ensure it is firmly secured.
- Slide the T4X intercom unit onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place.
5.2. Installing Speakers and Microphone
- Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Use the provided Velcro pads to secure them. Ensure speakers are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound.
- Select either the hard boom microphone (for open-face helmets) or the soft wired microphone (for full-face helmets).
- Attach the microphone inside the helmet, positioning it close to your mouth but away from direct wind. Use the provided Velcro pads.
- Connect the speaker/microphone cable to the corresponding port on the T4X unit. Ensure it is fully and firmly inserted.
5.3. Charging the Unit
Before first use, fully charge the T4X unit. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the intercom and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The indicator light will show charging status (typically red while charging, blue when fully charged). A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
6.2. Bluetooth Pairing (Smartphone/GPS)
- With the T4X powered off, press and hold the Power button for about 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or GPS device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "TNICER T4X" from the list. Once connected, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.
6.3. Intercom Communication (Group Pairing)
The T4X supports one-touch automatic pairing for up to 8 riders.
- Ensure all T4X units are powered on and not connected to other devices.
- On one unit (the host unit), press and hold the Intercom button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue rapidly.
- On the other units (client units), short press the Intercom button. They will automatically search for and connect to the host unit.
- Once connected, all units will have a solid blue light or flash blue slowly.
- To initiate intercom conversation, short press the Intercom button on any connected unit.
- If communication is interrupted by distance or obstacles, the units will automatically reconnect when back within range.

6.4. Music Playback & Sharing
- Play/Pause: Short press the Multi-function button.
- Next Track: Long press the Volume Up button.
- Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down button.
- Music Sharing: While music is playing, short press the Music Share button (if available, or refer to specific button combination in quick start guide) on the host unit to share with a paired client unit.
6.5. Sound Adjustment Modes
The T4X offers three sound profiles:
- Bass Boost
- Mid-range Boost
- Treble Boost

7.1. Cleaning

8. Troubleshooting
8.1. No sound from earphones or microphone, or sound only from one side.
- Solution 1: Check if the cable connector is fully inserted into the main unit's jack. If not fully inserted, issues such as no sound from both ears or only one ear may occur. Note: The earphone jack may be slightly stiff, so insert it firmly.
- Solution 2: Try plugging and unplugging the earphones several times.
