3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Assembling the Stand

  1. Carefully remove the monitor from its packaging, placing it face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor's rear panel. Ensure it clicks securely into place or is fastened with screws if provided.
  3. Connect the stand base to the stand neck, securing it with the thumb screw or other fastening mechanism.

The monitor stand is designed for easy assembly, typically requiring two steps to connect the metal parts and then button the monitor onto the stand.

3.2 Connecting Cables

Locate the input ports on the back of the monitor.

  1. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input port, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  2. Video Connection:
    • HDMI: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the monitor's HDMI port and the other end to the HDMI output port on your computer or device.
    • VGA: Connect one end of the VGA cable to the monitor's VGA port and the other end to the VGA output port on your computer or device.

3.3 VESA Mounting (Optional)

The monitor supports 75x75 mm VESA mounting. This allows for alternative mounting solutions such as wall mounts or monitor arms (sold separately). The screw holes are M4 x 8 mm (2 holes).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button, usually located on the bottom right side of the monitor, to turn the monitor on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.

4.2 Input Selection

If you have multiple devices connected, use the input selection button (often labeled 'Input' or represented by an arrow icon) to cycle through available inputs (HDMI, VGA) until your desired source is displayed.

4.3 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Use the control buttons on the monitor's bezel to navigate the menu.

  • Menu Button: Opens the OSD menu.
  • Navigation Buttons: Used to move through menu options.
  • Select/Enter Button: Confirms a selection.
  • Exit Button: Closes the OSD menu.

Common OSD settings include brightness, contrast, color temperature, input source, and display mode.

4.4 Adjusting Tilt

The monitor stand allows for tilt adjustment from -5 degrees to 15 degrees. Gently hold the top and bottom edges of the monitor and tilt it to your preferred viewing angle.
