2. Safety Information

5. Setup
5.1 Placement
Place the UPS in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated indoor area. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper airflow, especially around the cooling fan on the rear panel. Avoid placing it near windows or in direct sunlight.
5.2 Connecting to Power
- Connect the UPS power cord to a grounded wall outlet.
- Allow the UPS to charge for at least 8 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance.
5.3 Connecting Devices
- Plug your computer, monitor, and other critical electronic devices into the Schuko output sockets on the rear panel of the UPS.

6.3 Software Installation and Usage
The Salicru SPS ONE UPS includes a USB communication interface (HID protocol) that allows for monitoring and management via software. This software enables you to configure parameters, control the UPS, and set up automatic shutdown or hibernation for your computer during extended power outages.
