3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the radio. Connect the supplied Micro USB charging cable to the DC 5V input port on the back of the radio and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The indicator light will be red during charging and turn green when fully charged. A full charge provides up to 10 hours of playback.

3.2 Automatic Station Scan

When you power on the radio for the first time, it will automatically perform a scan to find all available DAB/DAB+ and FM radio stations in your area. This process may take a few minutes. Once complete, the radio will tune to the first available station.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Press and hold the Power/Mode button to turn the radio on or off.

4.2 Mode Selection (DAB/DAB+ / FM)

  • While the radio is on, short press the Power/Mode button to switch between DAB/DAB+ and FM radio modes.

4.3 Scanning for Stations

  • In either DAB/DAB+ or FM mode, press the Scan button to perform a full scan for available stations.

4.4 Tuning and Selecting Stations

  • Use the Prev and Next buttons to navigate through the available stations.
  • Alternatively, rotate the Select / Volume+ knob to browse stations and press it to select.

4.5 Presetting Stations

You can store up to 10 favorite stations for quick access.

  1. Tune to the desired station.
  2. Press and hold the Preset button until the display shows a preset number.
  3. Use the Prev or Next buttons (or rotate the Select / Volume+ knob) to choose a preset slot (1-10).
  4. Press the Select / Volume+ knob to confirm and save the station.

To recall a preset station, short press the Preset button, then use the Prev or Next buttons (or rotate the Select / Volume+ knob) to select the desired preset, and press the Select / Volume+ knob to tune to it.

4.6 Volume Control

  • Rotate the Select / Volume+ knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

4.7 Using Headphones

  • Plug any standard 3.5mm headphones into the Headphone Jack on the back of the radio for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your radio, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the radio. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
