2. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your OtterBox Commuter Series Case:

1. Separate the Case: The Commuter Series case consists of two parts: a soft inner synthetic rubber slipcover and a rigid outer polycarbonate shell. Gently separate these two layers.
2. Install Inner Layer: First, place your iPhone into the soft inner rubber slipcover, ensuring all edges and corners are properly seated.
3. Install Outer Layer: Next, align the rigid outer polycarbonate shell over the rubber slipcover. Snap the outer shell into place, working your way around the edges until it is securely fastened.
4. Check Port Covers: Ensure the port covers are properly closed to protect against dust and dirt when not in use.

3. Operating the Case

The OtterBox Commuter Series Case is designed for seamless daily use, providing protection without hindering functionality.

Accessing Ports and Buttons:

• Charging Port: Gently lift the integrated port cover at the bottom of the case to access your iPhone's charging port. Close it firmly after charging to prevent dust and debris.
• Side Buttons: The case features responsive button covers that maintain the tactile feel of your iPhone's volume and power buttons.
• Mute Switch: A precise cutout allows easy access to the mute switch.

Wireless Charging:

The Commuter Series case is designed to be compatible with Qi wireless charging. Simply place your iPhone (with the case installed) on a compatible wireless charging pad. Note that this case does not include MagSafe magnets.
