Setup
Powering the Radio
The LEOTEC LT-1811 radio can be powered in two ways:
- AC Power: Connect the included charging cable to the AC input on the back of the radio and plug it into a standard 120V/60Hz wall outlet.
- Battery Power: For portable use, insert three (3) D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the back of the radio. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries.

Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off and Volume Control
- To turn the radio on, rotate the Volume Control knob clockwise.
- To adjust the volume, continue rotating the Volume Control knob.
- To turn the radio off, rotate the Volume Control knob counter-clockwise until it clicks.
Selecting Radio Band (AM/FM)
Use the Function Button (BT/FM/AM switch) located on the top of the radio to select your desired band:
- Slide the switch to FM for FM radio.
- Slide the switch to AM for AM radio.
- Slide the switch to BT for Bluetooth mode.

Tuning to a Station
- Extend the Retractable Antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM, the internal antenna is usually sufficient, but adjusting the radio's orientation may improve reception.
- Rotate the Tuning Control knob to scan through frequencies until you find your desired station. The frequency scale is visible on the front panel.
Bluetooth Operation
- Slide the Function Button to BT. The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated by an audible prompt.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "LEOTEC LT-1811" (or similar) from the list to pair.
- Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the radio.

Using the Headphone Jack
For private listening, plug any standard 3.5mm headphones into the Headphone Jack located on the side of the radio. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the radio. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Battery Replacement: If using batteries, replace all three D-cell batteries simultaneously when the sound quality degrades or the radio stops functioning. Remove batteries if the radio will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
