Setup
1. Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Press down on the tab and slide the battery cover off.
- Insert two AA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Important: Do not use a new battery with an old one. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
Operating Instructions
This HCDZ Replacement Remote Control is designed for immediate use with compatible Aiwa systems without any programming.
- Ensure fresh batteries are correctly installed (refer to the "Setup" section).
- Point the remote control directly at the infrared (IR) sensor of your Aiwa Micro Bookshelf HiFi Component System.
