4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your EBL Solar Panel:

1. Choose a Location: Select a location that receives several hours of direct sunlight daily. Ensure the 9.5ft cable can reach your camera.
2. Mount the Base:
   • Place the base against the wall or mounting surface.
   • Mark the positions for drilling using the base as a template.
   • Drill holes at the marked positions. Insert the wall anchors if installing on masonry or drywall.
   • Fix the base securely to the mounting location using the provided screws.

3. Assemble the Universal Joint:
   • First, install the locking screw cap into the universal joint.
   • Then, screw the circular socket nut into the universal joint.
   • Screw the universal joint into the back of the solar panel. Tighten it firmly with the attached nut.
4. Attach Solar Panel to Base:
   • Screw the locking screw cap into the base.
   • Make sure that the universal joint is angled upward.
5. Adjust Angle:
   • When adjusting the solar panel, loosen the locking screw cap, turn the sleeve rod, and tighten the locking screw cap when the panel is in position.
   • The 360° adjustable bracket allows you to find the best angle to receive direct sunlight. The panel's angle can be adjusted up and down by up to 90°.

6. Connect to Camera:
   • Connect the charging cable of the solar panel to your security camera. Ensure a secure connection.
   • Use the provided waterproof case for the connector if necessary to enhance weather resistance.

Once installed, the EBL Solar Panel will automatically begin charging your compatible camera when exposed to sufficient sunlight.
