4. Setup

1. Download the App: Download the 'DEPSTECHCAM' app from the Apple App Store. You can find it by searching for 'DEPSTECHCAM' or by scanning the QR code provided in the product packaging or on the product page. Download DEPSTECHCAM App

   

2. Connect to iPhone/iPad: Insert the Lightning connector of the endoscope cable into your iPhone or iPad's Lightning port. Ensure your device is running iOS 12.0 or later. (Note: iPhone 15 models are not supported).

   

3. Grant App Permissions: When prompted by the app, grant necessary permissions, especially access to your device's photos and videos, to enable full functionality.

5. Operating Instructions

Once set up, you can begin using your DEPSTECH Industrial Endoscope:

• Real-time Viewing: After connecting the endoscope and launching the 'DEPSTECHCAM' app, the live video feed from the camera will automatically appear on your device screen.
• Adjusting LED Brightness: Locate the dimmer dial on the endoscope cable. Rotate this dial to adjust the brightness of the LED lights around the camera lens. This allows you to optimize visibility in various lighting conditions, especially in dark areas.
• Capturing Images/Videos: Use the controls within the 'DEPSTECHCAM' app to take still photos or record videos. The app interface provides dedicated buttons for these functions.
• Zoom Function: The app supports 1.5x and 2x digital zoom. Use this feature to get a closer look at details on the screen.
• Screen Rotation: The app allows for continuous 90-degree rotation of the live feed, which is useful for adjusting the viewing orientation without physically rotating the camera.
• Using Attachments: For retrieving small objects, screw the magnet or hook attachment onto the tip of the camera head. The magnet is ideal for metallic items, while the hook can be used for other small objects or for pulling wires.

Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your endoscope:

• Cleaning: After each use, especially in dirty or wet environments, gently wipe the camera lens and the cable with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure the lens is free of debris or smudges for clear image quality. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the endoscope in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Coil the cable neatly without sharp bends or kinks to prevent internal wire damage.
