4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Attaching the Grip to Your Smartphone

1. For MagSafe-Compatible iPhones (iPhone 12 series and newer) or MagSafe Cases:
   Simply align the magnetic circle on the grip with the MagSafe area on the back of your iPhone or MagSafe-compatible case. The grip will snap securely into place.
2. For Other Smartphones or Non-MagSafe Cases:
   The product includes a 3M adhesive metal ring for compatibility. Follow these steps:
   
   1. Clean the back surface of your smartphone or case thoroughly with the provided wet cleaning wipe and allow it to dry completely.
   2. Apply the clear protective film to the desired area on your phone or case where the metal ring will be placed. This helps protect the surface.
   3. Peel off the adhesive backing from the 3M metal ring and carefully center it over the protective film. Press firmly for several seconds to ensure a strong bond.
   4. Once the metal ring is securely attached, you can magnetically snap the grip onto it.

4.2 Pairing the Wireless Remote

1. Gently slide the wireless remote out from its slot on the grip.
2. Press and hold the switch button on the remote for 2-3 seconds until the blue indicator light begins to flash intermittently. This indicates it is in pairing mode.
3. On your smartphone, navigate to your Bluetooth settings.
4. Look for a device named "MSG-P1" in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
5. Once successfully paired, the blue indicator light on the remote will stop flashing and remain solid.
6. If pairing is unsuccessful, clear any previous pairing information for "MSG-P1" from your phone's Bluetooth settings and retry the process.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using as a Phone Grip

With the grip attached, hold your smartphone as you would a traditional camera. The ergonomic design provides a secure and comfortable hold, improving stability for clearer photos and smoother videos. Use the shutter button on the remote (whether inserted into the grip or detached) to capture your shots.

5.2 Switching Orientation

The magnetic attachment allows for seamless rotation of your phone between portrait and landscape orientations without needing to detach the grip. Simply twist your phone while it's attached to the magnetic base.

5.3 Using as a Phone Stand

The grip features an integrated kickstand. Fold out the stand to prop your phone up on any flat surface. This is ideal for watching videos, making video calls, or recording hands-free content.
