The NZXT Relay Speakers are active desktop speakers designed to deliver clear and detailed audio for gaming and multimedia. Featuring a 76mm fiberglass woofer and a 20mm silk dome tweeter, these speakers provide a rich bass and natural treble. The MDF enclosure is engineered to minimize distortion, ensuring a wide dynamic range and powerful, clear sound in a compact form factor. Optimized for near-field listening on a PC desk, they offer excellent sound localization, making them suitable for immersive gaming experiences, music listening, and video playback.

- Connect Speakers: Use the included speaker cable to connect the primary (left) speaker to the secondary (right) speaker. Connect the speaker terminals on the rear of each unit.

4. Operation
Once the speakers are set up and powered on, you can begin using them:
- Volume Control: Use the volume knob on the rear of the primary speaker to adjust the output volume. Turn clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
- Input Selection: The speakers automatically detect the active audio input. Ensure your audio source is playing sound.
- Subwoofer Output: An RCA pin jack output is available for connecting an optional, separately sold subwoofer. Connect an RCA cable from this output to your subwoofer's input.
Automatic Power Management
The NZXT Relay Speakers feature an automatic power management system:
- Auto-Off: If no audio signal is detected for approximately 10 minutes, the speakers will enter a low-power standby mode.
- Auto-Wake: When an audio signal is detected, the speakers will automatically wake up from standby mode and resume playback.
- Quick Sleep: The speakers may enter a quick sleep mode if silence persists for approximately 0.5 seconds. When sound is detected after this quick sleep, playback will resume with a brief fade-in (approximately 0.5 seconds). This behavior is intended to conserve power but may affect the playback of music with frequent quiet passages or sudden dynamic changes.
5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your speakers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow around the speakers. Do not block the rear ports or place speakers in enclosed spaces that could lead to overheating.
- Environment: Keep the speakers away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture. They are not waterproof.
- Handling: Handle the speakers with care. Avoid dropping them or subjecting them to strong impacts.
