Product Features
- PIR Motion & Dusk to Dawn Activation: The bulb automatically illuminates in dark conditions (below 15 Lux) when motion is detected within an 8-16 feet range. It turns off 30-45 seconds after motion ceases. The bulb remains off during daylight hours.
- Efficient & Durable: Provides 1100 lumens of 5000K daylight white light, equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, while consuming only 13W. Designed for a lifespan of up to 20,000 hours, offering significant energy savings.
- Enhanced Security: Automatically activates upon detecting movement, serving as a deterrent and providing illumination for safety in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Wide Application: Suitable for various locations including staircases, hallways, bathrooms, front doors, storage rooms, garages, porches, closets, balconies, and gates.

Installation Guide
Important Considerations Before Installation:
- Fixture Type: This bulb is designed for open fixtures. It will not function correctly in enclosed fixtures, recessed fixtures, or fixtures with frosted covers, as these can block the motion and light sensors. The sensor part of the bulb must be exposed.
- Sensor Direction: For optimal performance, the motion sensor should face downward.
- Installation Height: Install the bulb no higher than 10-12 feet for effective motion detection.
- Dimmers: This bulb is not dimmable and is incompatible with dimmer switches. Using it with a dimmer may cause malfunction or damage.

Installation Steps:
- Power Off: Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker before installation.
- Screw In: Carefully screw the Torkase Motion Sensor LED Light Bulb into a standard E26 base socket. Ensure it is securely tightened.
- Power On: Restore power to the light fixture. The bulb will perform a self-test and then enter its operational mode.
Operating Instructions
The Torkase Motion Sensor LED Light Bulb is designed for automatic operation based on ambient light levels and motion detection.
Dusk to Dawn Functionality:
- The integrated light sensor detects ambient light.
- During daylight hours or in brightly lit conditions (above 15 Lux), the bulb will remain off, even if motion is detected.
- At night or in low-light conditions (below 15 Lux), the bulb becomes active and ready to detect motion.

Motion Detection:
- When the bulb is in its active (nighttime) state, it will illuminate automatically upon detecting motion within its detection range.
- The detection range is approximately 8-16 feet (2.4-4.9 meters) with a 120-degree detection angle.
- Once motion is no longer detected, the bulb will remain illuminated for approximately 30-45 seconds before turning off.
- If motion is continuously detected, the bulb will remain on until motion ceases.

Maintenance
The Torkase Motion Sensor LED Light Bulb requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Gently wipe the bulb with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Sensor Area: Keep the motion sensor dome clear of dust, dirt, or obstructions to ensure proper functionality.
- Replacement: Replace the bulb when its light output significantly diminishes or it ceases to function.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Bulb does not turn on:
- Check if the power to the fixture is on.
- Verify that the ambient light is low enough (below 15 Lux) for the dusk-to-dawn sensor to activate.
- Ensure the bulb is screwed in securely.
- Confirm the fixture is open and not blocking the sensor (refer to Installation Guide).
- Bulb stays on during the day:
- The bulb's light sensor may not be detecting sufficient ambient light. Ensure the sensor is not obstructed or installed in a perpetually shaded area.
- Check for external light sources that might be interfering with the sensor.
- Bulb turns off too quickly (less than 30 seconds):
- Ensure there is no continuous motion within the detection range. The bulb will turn off 30-45 seconds after the last detected motion.
- Bulb does not detect motion:
- Verify the bulb is installed in an open fixture with the sensor facing downward.
- Check for obstructions blocking the sensor's field of view.
- Ensure the installation height is within the recommended 10-12 feet range.
- Confirm the ambient light is low enough for the motion sensor to be active.
- Bulb flickers or malfunctions:
- This bulb is not compatible with dimmer switches. Ensure it is not connected to a dimmer circuit.
- Check for stable power supply.
