4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation. No need to cut holes in the ceiling.

4.1 Mounting the Bracket

  • Securely attach the mounting bracket to a building structure or a ceiling fan rated box.
  • Ensure the bracket is firmly installed to support the fan's weight.

4.2 Assembling the Fan Blades

  • Attach the iron spacers to each fan blade.
  • Align the holes on the blades with the holes on the motor and insert the screws. Do not fully torque the screws until all blades are in place.
  • Once all 3 blades are installed, lock all screws securely.

4.3 Installing the Light Kit

  • Unscrew the screws from the motor base.
  • Align the holes on the light board with the screw holes, and install the screws back into the corresponding holes.
  • Connect the white terminal from the light kit into the light source connector.
  • Place the lampshade on the bottom of the light panel and twist it tightly.

4.4 Downrod Selection and Assembly

The fan includes 5", 10", and 15" downrods. Choose the appropriate length for your ceiling height.

  • Remove the R Clevis Pin and set screw from the downrod ball.
  • Loosen the screws on the motor and do not take them out completely.
  • Thread the motor wires through the selected downrod.
  • Insert the downrod into the motor and secure it with the set screw and R Clevis Pin. Tighten the screws on the motor.
  • Slide the decorative cover and canopy onto the downrod.

4.5 Wiring and Hanging the Fan

  • Insert the controller into the mounting bracket.
  • Connect the wires of the receiver to the wires of the motor, ensuring wire colors correspond.
  • Connect the ground wire (green), live wire (black), and neutral wire (white) from the house to the receiver.
  • Hang the downrod ball onto the mounting bracket, ensuring the slot on the downrod ball matches the inner lock of the bracket. Rotate the downrod left and right to securely lock it.
  • Move the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it by putting the two screws on the mounting bracket through the holes in the canopy and hand-twisting them clockwise until they go from the big holes into the small holes.
  • Tidy up the wires and torque the two screws on the hangers.
