2. Safety Information

WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions before using this product.

• This product is a Class II laser device with a maximum laser output of < 1mW.

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation and Charging

1. Ensure the laser level is switched to the "OFF" position.
2. Insert the rechargeable lithium battery into the battery compartment.
3. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the laser level and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The battery can also be charged separately.
4. The laser level can be operated directly by plugging in the Type-C cable even if the battery is removed.

5.2. Mounting the Laser Level

The laser level offers multiple installation methods:

• Tripod Mounting: Attach the laser level to the included 37.5-inch tripod using the 1/4"-20 threaded mount. Adjust the tripod height and angle as needed.
• Magnetic Base: Attach the laser level to the magnetic pivoting base. This base can then be secured to metallic surfaces, allowing for 360° rotation.
• Direct Placement: The compact design allows the laser level to be placed directly on the ground or other flat surfaces for tasks like tile laying.

6. Operating Modes

The PREXISO laser level features 5 leveling modes, easily switchable via the H/V button.

6.1. Self-Leveling Mode

1. Slide the Lock/Unlock switch to the "ON" side.
2. The tool will automatically self-level within a range of ±4° of horizontal.
3. If the surface tilt exceeds 4 degrees, the laser lines will blink as an alarm, indicating that the device is out of level. Adjust the position until the lines stabilize.
4. Press the H/V button to cycle through the desired laser line configurations (horizontal, vertical, or cross lines).

6.2. Manual Mode (Lock Mode)

1. Slide the Lock/Unlock switch to the "OFF" side (locked position).
2. Press and hold the H/V button for 3 seconds to turn on the laser.
3. In manual mode, the self-leveling feature is disabled, allowing you to project laser lines at any desired angle.
4. Short press the H/V button to switch between horizontal, vertical, or cross modes.

6.3. Pulse Mode (Outdoor Mode)

1. Activate the desired laser lines in either self-leveling or manual mode.
2. Press the pulse mode button (often indicated by a receiver icon) on the keypad.
3. In pulse mode, the laser lines flash at a high frequency, making them detectable by an optional laser receiver (sold separately).
4. This mode extends the working range up to 196 feet (60 meters) in bright light or outdoor conditions. Note that the laser lines may appear less visible to the naked eye in this mode.
