4. Setup Guide

1. Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the 3 AAA batteries (included) according to the polarity indicators.
2. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets or soft flooring, as this can affect accuracy.
3. Initial Calibration: For first-time use or if the scale has been moved, step on the scale briefly until the display shows '0.0' or your weight, then step off. This calibrates the scale.
4. Download the App: Search for the "Vitafit" app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download it to your smartphone.
5. Pair with App: Open the Vitafit app and follow the on-screen instructions to create your profile and pair the scale via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Taking a Measurement

1. Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
2. Gently step onto the scale with bare, dry feet. The scale will automatically turn on.
3. Stand still until your weight is displayed and stabilizes on the LED screen.
4. If connected to the app, your weight and BMI data will automatically sync to your profile.
5. The scale will automatically shut off after a few seconds of inactivity.

5.2 Changing Units

To switch between measurement units (pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), or stones (st)), locate the unit switch button on the underside of the scale (refer to Figure 4.1). Press the button to cycle through the available units until your desired unit is displayed.

• Battery Replacement: When the display shows "Lo", it indicates low battery. Replace all 3 AAA batteries with new ones.
