1. Product Overview

The Neugo Steam Mop (Model NE-033) is designed for efficient and chemical-free deep cleaning of various hard floor surfaces, including hardwood, vinyl, laminate, carpet, and tile. It utilizes high-temperature steam to effectively remove grime and stains.

2. Setup

2.1 Assembling the Steam Mop

1. Connect the main body to the mop head by aligning the connection points and pushing firmly until it clicks into place.
2. Attach the handle to the top of the main body. Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Attach a machine washable pad to the bottom of the mop head. The pad attaches via hook-and-loop fasteners.

2.2 Filling the Water Tank

1. Ensure the steam mop is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Remove the 15.2 oz large water tank by pressing the release buttons on the sides and pulling it out.
3. Open the water tank cap.
4. Fill the tank with distilled water. DO NOT add any cleaning agent, perfume, essential oil, vinegar, or other chemical solvents into the water tank.
5. Close the water tank cap securely and reinsert the tank into the main body until it clicks into place.

2.3 Initial Power-Up

1. Plug the 23ft power cord into a standard AC 110V outlet.
2. Press the power button located on the main body. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. Allow approximately 20 seconds for the steam mop to pre-heat and produce continuous steam.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Selecting Steam Modes

The Neugo Steam Mop features adjustable steam modes to suit different cleaning needs and floor types. Use the steam intensity knob to select your desired mode:

• Min Mode: Ideal for delicate surfaces like hardwood, laminate, and vinyl floors. Produces gentle steam to prevent damage and water streaks.
• Medium Mode: Suitable for daily cleaning of most hard floors.
• Max Mode: Provides powerful steam for tough dirt and stubborn stains on durable surfaces like tile and marble.

3.2 Cleaning Different Surfaces

• Hardwood/Laminate/Vinyl Floors: Set to Min mode. Move the mop slowly and continuously across the floor. The fast-drying action ensures no water residue.
• Tile/Marble Floors: Use Medium or Max mode for effective cleaning of grout and stubborn dirt.
• Carpet: Attach the carpet glider (included) before cleaning carpets. This allows the mop to glide smoothly and refresh carpet fibers with steam. Ensure the carpet glider is removed before mopping hard floors.

3.3 Ergonomics and Maneuverability

The steam mop features an adjustable height design, allowing users to clean comfortably without excessive bending. Its swivel mop head and low center of gravity enhance maneuverability, making it easy to reach under furniture and around obstacles.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning Mop Pads

The machine washable pads can be easily removed from the mop head. It is suggested to replace the mop pad every 15 minutes or when it becomes saturated for optimal cleaning performance. After use, simply detach the pad and machine wash it for reuse.

4.2 Water Tank Care

Regularly empty and rinse the water tank. If storing the mop for an extended period, ensure the tank is completely dry.

4.3 Cord Storage

Wrap the 23ft power cord neatly around the integrated cord wraps on the handle for convenient storage.

5. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

• No Steam Production:
  • Ensure the water tank is filled with distilled water.
  • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
  • Verify the power button is pressed and the indicator light is on. Allow 20 seconds for pre-heating.
• Water Streaks on Floor:
  • Ensure you are using distilled water only.
  • The mop pad might be saturated; replace it with a clean, dry one.
  • For delicate floors, ensure the steam mode is set to Min.
• Mop Not Gliding Smoothly:
  • Check if the mop pad is clean and not overly saturated.
  • If cleaning carpet, ensure the carpet glider is properly attached.
  • If cleaning hard floors, ensure the carpet glider is removed.
