Safety Information

Always adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the equipment. High-pressure air can be dangerous if not handled correctly.

  • Ensure the compressor is placed on a stable, level surface during operation.
  • Do not operate the compressor in wet conditions or near flammable materials.
  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as eye protection.
  • Do not exceed the maximum pressure rating of 4500 PSI (300 Bar) for the compressor or the connected air tank.
  • Allow the compressor to cool down after extended use to prevent overheating.
  • Keep children and unauthorized personnel away from the operating compressor.
  • Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

Product Components

The TUXING PCP Air Compressor TXET063 includes several key components for its operation.

Figure 2: Detailed view of the compressor's external components, including the built-in transformer, cooling fan, 12V DC power connector, discharge valve, burst disk, 8mm air outlet, and overload fuse.

  • LCD Digital Display Screen: Provides real-time pressure and temperature readings, and allows for preset pressure value setting.
  • Built-in Fan Cooling System: Ensures efficient heat dissipation during operation.
  • Discharge Valve: Used to release pressure from the system.
  • Air Outlet (8mm connector): Connects to the air tank or device to be filled.
  • Power Input: Accepts 110V AC household power or 12V DC car battery power.
  • Built-in Transformer: Facilitates power conversion for various power sources.
  • Overload Fuse: Protects the compressor from electrical overloads.

Setup

Proper setup is crucial for safe and effective operation.

  1. Placement: Place the compressor on a flat, stable, and dry surface with adequate ventilation. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for airflow.
  2. Power Connection:
    • Household AC Power (110V): Connect the provided power cord to the compressor and then to a standard 110V AC wall outlet.
    • Car Battery DC Power (12V): Use the included alligator clips to connect the compressor directly to a 12V car battery. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).

Figure 3: The compressor can be powered by a 12V car battery for outdoor use or a 110V AC wall outlet for home use, thanks to its built-in transformer.

  3. Air Hose Connection: Connect the high-pressure air hose to the 8mm air outlet connector on the compressor. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
  4. Tank Connection: Connect the other end of the high-pressure air hose to the air tank or device you intend to fill. Verify that the tank's pressure rating does not exceed the compressor's maximum output of 4500 PSI (300 Bar).

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and efficient operation of your compressor.

  1. Power On: Turn on the compressor using the main power switch. The LCD digital display will illuminate.
  2. Set Target Pressure: Use the controls on the LCD display to set your desired target pressure. The compressor features an automatic shut-off function that will stop the unit once this pressure is reached.

Figure 4: The high-definition backlit LCD screen displays real-time pressure, temperature, and current, allowing for precise control and setting of target pressure.

  3. Start Inflation: Once the target pressure is set and all connections are secure, press the start button to begin the inflation process.
  4. Monitor Progress: Observe the pressure reading on the LCD display. The compressor will automatically stop when the preset pressure is achieved. The display also shows the internal temperature.
  5. Cooling: The built-in fan cooling system operates automatically to manage internal temperature. For prolonged use, allow the compressor to cool down periodically.
  6. Release Pressure: After inflation is complete and the compressor has stopped, slowly open the discharge valve to release any residual pressure in the hose before disconnecting the air tank.
  7. Power Off: Turn off the main power switch and disconnect the power source.

The compressor is designed for fast filling speeds, capable of inflating a 0.5L diving bottle from 0MPa to 30MPa in approximately 15 minutes.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your compressor.

  • Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the compressor clean and free of dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fan and ventilation openings are clear of obstructions to maintain proper airflow.
  • Filter System: The compressor is equipped with a filter system. While it is designed to output fresh air, periodic inspection of the filter is recommended. The drain valve helps remove sediment automatically.
  • Storage: Store the compressor in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter.

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
