Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps for easy assembly. All necessary tools are included.
Step 1: Attach Headboard Legs
Attach the support legs to the upholstered headboard using the provided screws and washers. Ensure they are securely fastened.

Step 2: Assemble Side Rails
Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard. Use the provided hardware to secure all connections. The side rails feature a warm-toned wood finish.

Step 3: Install Center Support Bar and Legs
Install the metal center support bar and its adjustable legs. This provides crucial stability and prevents mattress sagging.

Step 4: Place Wooden Slats
Unroll and place the wooden slats across the bed frame. Secure them according to the instructions to ensure a stable foundation for your mattress. No box spring is needed with this platform design.

Operating Instructions
Mattress Placement
Place your twin-size mattress directly onto the wooden slats. The platform design eliminates the need for a box spring.
Headboard Height Adjustment
The upholstered headboard is height-adjustable, ranging from 39.3" to 47.2". To adjust the height, loosen the screws connecting the headboard to its support legs, slide the headboard to the desired position, and then re-tighten the screws securely. This allows for optimal mattress fit and comfort.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Upholstered Headboard
The cotton and linen upholstered headboard should be dry cleaned only. Avoid using liquid cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the fabric.
Frame Care
Wipe the wooden frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Regularly check all connections and tighten any loose screws to maintain stability.
Under-Bed Clearance
The bed frame provides 5.9 inches of under-bed clearance, allowing for easy cleaning and additional storage space.

Troubleshooting
Squeaking Noises
If the bed frame produces squeaking noises, check all bolts and screws. Tighten any loose connections. Ensure the wooden slats are properly seated and not rubbing against the frame.
Instability
If the bed frame feels unstable, re-verify that all assembly steps have been completed correctly and all hardware is securely tightened. Ensure the bed is placed on a flat, even surface.
