Setup and Assembly

The AskCat Baby Bouncer requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to set up your bouncer:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components are present: bouncer frame, fabric seat, and toy bar.
2. Assemble Frame: Connect the frame pieces as per the included diagram. Ensure all connections click securely into place. The frame is designed for stability on flat surfaces.
3. Attach Fabric Seat: Drape the fabric seat over the assembled frame, ensuring it is properly aligned and secured to all attachment points.
4. Install Batteries (Optional): Locate the battery compartment for the vibration and music unit (typically on the underside of the bouncer). Insert 2 x AA 1.5V batteries, observing polarity. Close the compartment securely.
5. Attach Toy Bar: Slide the removable toy bar into the designated slots on each side of the bouncer frame until it clicks into place. The toy bar is adjustable and can be moved out of the way or positioned closer to the baby.

Operating Instructions

1. Placing Your Baby: Gently place your baby into the bouncer seat. Ensure their head is comfortably supported.
2. Securing the Harness: Bring the harness straps over your baby's shoulders and between their legs. Connect the buckles securely. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug fit, preventing your baby from slipping out. The protective cover over the snaps helps prevent pinching.
3. Activating Vibration and Music: Locate the control unit (usually at the front base of the bouncer). Press the power button to activate the soothing vibration. Press the music button to play calming melodies. You can turn these features on or off independently.
4. Adjusting Toy Bar: The toy bar can be rotated or removed to allow for easy access to your baby or to change the play angle. The hanging toys are also adjustable.
5. Bouncing Motion: The bouncer is designed to gently bounce with your baby's natural movements or with a gentle push from a caregiver.
