Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these may damage the surface or internal components. Avoid exposing the device to excessive moisture.
Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the radio when the battery indicator is low. If storing the radio for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% every few months to prevent deep discharge.
Storage
Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Keep it away from strong magnetic fields.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No sound or poor reception. | Earphones not properly connected or cable not extended. Weak FM signal in the area. | Ensure earphones are fully plugged in and the cable is extended to act as an antenna. Try moving to a location with better FM signal reception. |
| Radio does not turn on. | Battery is depleted. | Connect the radio to a power source using the USB-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again. |
| Volume is too loud at the lowest setting. | This can be a characteristic of the device's volume calibration. | While the device's minimum volume may be higher than desired for some users, ensure your earphones are properly seated. Consider using earphones with higher impedance or external volume attenuators if available. |
| Automatic scan fills presets with static or unwanted stations. | The auto-scan function stores the first 30 frequencies with detectable signals, regardless of signal quality. | After auto-scanning, manually navigate through the stored stations and note down the frequencies of your preferred clear stations. Use manual tuning to directly access these frequencies. The device does not support manual saving of specific frequencies to preset slots beyond the auto-scan function. |
