5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your INSEETECH WF821-4MP5G camera.
5.1. Physical Installation
- Choose a suitable outdoor location for mounting the camera, ensuring a clear view and access to a power source.
- Use the provided camera bracket and accessories to securely mount the camera to a wall or desired surface.
- Connect the power adapter to the camera and plug it into an electrical outlet. Use the 16ft/5M extension cable if needed.

5.2. App Download and Connection
The camera operates with the Tuya Smart APP.
- Download Tuya Smart APP: Scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide or search for "Tuya Smart" in your mobile app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android).
- Register/Login: Open the app and register a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Security & Video Surveillance" > "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)".
- Connect the Camera: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your camera.
