4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera battery. The battery compartment is hermetically sealed for waterproofing.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert the 1250mAh battery into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.
  4. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
  5. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off. Disconnect the USB cable.

4.2. Inserting the Micro SD Card

The camera supports Micro SD cards up to 128GB. A 32GB card is included.

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot, usually near the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

  1. Ensure the camera is in Photo mode.
  2. Frame your shot using the front or rear screen.
  3. Lightly press the Shutter button. The autofocus frame on the screen will change from yellow to green when focus is achieved.
  4. Press the Shutter button fully to capture the photo.

  1. Ensure the camera is in Video mode.
  2. Press the Shutter button to start recording. A recording indicator will appear on the screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button again to stop recording.
