Setup

Your Starscream figure comes pre-assembled in robot mode. No additional assembly is required beyond removing it from the packaging. The included blaster accessory can be attached to the figure's hand in robot mode or stored in jet mode.

Operating: Transformation Instructions

The Starscream figure converts between robot mode and jet mode in 14 steps. Follow these instructions carefully to avoid damage to the figure.

Converting from Robot Mode to Jet Mode

1. Remove Blaster: Detach the blaster accessory from the figure's hand. Set it aside for later attachment in jet mode.
2. Position Arms: Rotate the robot's arms downwards and inward, aligning them with the body.
3. Fold Hands: Fold the robot's hands into the forearms if they are not already retracted.
4. Rotate Waist: Carefully rotate the upper body at the waist 180 degrees.
5. Adjust Wings: Fold the wings on the robot's back upwards and slightly inward.
6. Position Legs: Bring the robot's legs together.
7. Fold Feet: Fold the robot's feet upwards to align with the shins.
8. Compress Legs: Compress the lower leg sections into the upper leg sections.
9. Form Jet Nose: The chest section of the robot will form the nosecone of the jet. Extend it forward.
10. Connect Legs to Torso: Securely connect the transformed leg section to the back of the jet mode, ensuring all tabs and slots align.
11. Align Arms: Position the arms along the sides of the jet mode, ensuring they are flush with the main body.
12. Final Wing Adjustment: Adjust the wings to their final position for jet mode, ensuring they are symmetrical.
13. Attach Blaster: The blaster accessory can be attached to a designated port underneath the jet mode, typically near the rear.
14. Verify Transformation: Ensure all parts are securely tabbed and aligned to form a cohesive jet mode.

Converting from Jet Mode to Robot Mode

To convert back to robot mode, reverse the steps above. Pay attention to the alignment of tabs and slots during each step.

1. Remove Blaster: Detach the blaster from the jet mode.
2. Separate Body Sections: Carefully unclip the leg section from the main jet body.
3. Extend Legs: Extend the compressed leg sections and unfold the feet.
4. Separate Arms: Unclip and position the arms away from the jet body.
5. Retract Jet Nose: Fold the jet nosecone back into the robot's chest area.
6. Rotate Waist: Rotate the upper body 180 degrees to face forward.
7. Unfold Hands: Extend the robot's hands from the forearms.
8. Position Arms: Bring the arms down to the robot's sides.
9. Adjust Wings: Position the wings on the robot's back as desired for robot mode.
10. Attach Blaster: Place the blaster accessory into either of the robot's hands.
11. Verify Transformation: Ensure all joints are locked and the figure stands stably in robot mode.
