2. What's in the Box

3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety. If you are unsure about any part of the installation process, consult a qualified marine audio technician.
3.1 WS-MC-5 Stereo Installation
The WS-MC-5 is designed for a 3-inch gauge style opening. Ensure adequate space behind the mounting surface for the unit and wiring connections.
- Mounting: Cut a 3-inch diameter hole in the desired mounting location. Secure the WS-MC-5 using the provided mounting bracket and hardware.
- Power Connection: Connect the red wire (ACC) to a switched 12V power source and the yellow wire (B+) to a constant 12V power source. Connect the black wire (GND) to a reliable ground point on the vessel.

3.2 Recon 6 XW-W Speaker Installation
The Recon 6 XW-W speakers are 6.5-inch coaxial speakers with RGB LED lighting.
- Mounting: Mount the speakers in appropriate 6.5-inch openings, ensuring a secure fit and proper sealing to prevent water ingress.
- Audio Wiring: Connect the speaker wires from the WS-MC-5 (or external amplifier) to the speaker terminals, observing correct polarity.
- RGB LED Wiring: Connect the RGB LED wires to a compatible RGB LED controller (sold separately) for color control. Ensure proper power and ground connections for the LED circuit.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 WS-MC-5 Stereo Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER/MUTE button to turn the unit on or off. Press briefly to mute/unmute audio.
- Source Selection: Press the SRC button to cycle through available audio sources: AM, FM, Bluetooth, Auxiliary.
- Volume Control: Use the rotary knob to adjust the master volume level.
- Band Selection (AM/FM): In AM/FM mode, press the BAND button to switch between AM and FM bands.
