Setup and Installation

1. Faucet Compatibility

Before installation, ensure your outdoor faucet is compatible with the irrigation controller. The device is designed for international standard inch external thread washing machine faucets. It is not compatible with one-piece screwless faucets or typical kitchen/basin faucets.

2. Connecting to Faucet

  1. Screw the appropriate connector (either the 1/2" copper or 3/4" plastic connector) onto your outdoor faucet. Ensure a snug fit.
  2. Attach the main irrigation controller unit to the connector, twisting until it is securely fastened. Ensure a tight seal to prevent leaks.

3. Connecting Irrigation Pipes

Connect your irrigation pipes (e.g., drip lines, sprinkler hoses) to the quick fittings located at the bottom of the controller. Ensure all pipe connections are secure and free from leaks.

4. Power Connection

Connect the 5V power adapter to the designated power port on the controller. Ensure the connection is fully sealed and protected from water if using outdoors. The blue power indicator light will illuminate.

5. App Pairing

  1. Download the Tuya Smart app (or a compatible smart home app) from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Open the app and create an account or log in if you already have one.
  3. On the controller, press and hold the manual power button for 5 seconds to enter the pairing state. The red indicator light will begin to flash.
  4. In the app, tap "Add Device" or "+" icon, then select the irrigation controller from the list of available devices or allow the app to auto-discover it.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process. Once successfully paired, the red indicator light will stop flashing and turn off.

Operating Instructions

1. Automatic Irrigation via App

Once your DELURA Smart Irrigation Controller is connected to the app, you can configure various automatic irrigation parameters:

  • Irrigation Frequency: Define how often your plants are watered (e.g., daily, every other day, specific days of the week).
  • Single Irrigation Time: Set the duration for each individual watering cycle (e.g., 10 minutes, 30 minutes).

2. Manual Control

You can manually control the water outlet directly from the device without using the app:

  • Tap the manual power button once to turn on the water outlet.
  • Tap the manual power button again to turn off the water outlet.

3. Indicator Lights

Understand the status of your device through its indicator lights:

  • Red Indicator Light Flashes: The device is offline, not connected to Wi-Fi, or is in pairing mode.
  • Red Indicator Light Changes from Flashing to Off: The device has successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network and is operating normally.
  • Blue Power Indicator Light (Long On): Indicates that the device is powered on.
