Operating Instructions

Shaving Techniques

The Philips Shaver Series 7000 can be used for both wet and dry shaving. Its SkinIQ technology and Power Adapt sensor ensure optimal performance by detecting your hair density and guiding your shave.

  • For dry shaving, ensure your face is clean and dry.
  • For wet shaving, you can use shaving foam or gel. The shaver is 100% waterproof.
  • Move the shaver in small, circular motions over your skin. The 360-degree flexible heads will follow your facial contours for a close and comfortable shave.
  • The Nano SkinGlide coating, with 250,000 protective microbeads per square centimeter, reduces friction by up to 30% for enhanced skin comfort.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Shaver

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene. The shaver is 100% waterproof and can be rinsed under the tap.

  • After each shave, rinse the shaving unit under warm running water.
  • For a more thorough clean, detach the shaving head and rinse the inside of the shaving unit and the hair chamber.
  • Allow the shaver to air dry.

Using the Quick Clean Pod

The Quick Clean Pod provides a convenient and thorough cleaning solution for your shaver.

  1. Place the shaver head-down into the Quick Clean Pod.
  2. Press the power button on the shaver to start the cleaning cycle. The cleaning process takes approximately 1 minute.
  3. The Quick Clean Pod uses a special cleaning fluid to remove hair, foam, and gel, and lubricate the blades.

Replacing Shaving Heads

For best results, replace the shaving heads every two years. The self-sharpening SteelPrecision blades are designed for long-lasting performance, but replacement ensures continued optimal cutting efficiency.
