Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your Eurom AC3501 Wifi split air conditioner. This portable unit is designed to provide cooling for various mobile environments such as caravans, motorhomes, campers, boats, and mobile homes, as well as for use in residential spaces like living rooms, bedrooms, and offices. Safety Instructions

Always adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the unit:

• Ensure the power supply matches the unit's requirements (230 Volt).
• Do not block air inlets or outlets.
• Keep the unit away from water and moisture. The unit has an IP24 protection rating, meaning it is protected against solid objects over 12.5mm and splashing water from any direction.
• Do not attempt to repair or modify the unit yourself. Contact qualified service personnel.
• Ensure proper ventilation around the outdoor unit.
• The unit contains R290 refrigerant. Handle with care and ensure proper disposal.

Product Components

The Eurom AC3501 is a split air conditioning system consisting of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, connected by a flexible hose containing refrigerant lines and electrical cables. The system also includes various accessories for installation.

Setup and Installation

The Eurom AC3501 is designed for flexible installation, particularly suitable for temporary setups in caravans or mobile homes. The two units are permanently connected by a flexible hose.

Installation Steps:

1. Positioning the Units:

   Identify a suitable location for both the indoor and outdoor units. The indoor unit should be placed inside the space to be cooled, while the outdoor unit must be placed outside, ensuring adequate airflow around it. The connecting hose allows for separation of the units.

2. Window Installation (Caravan/Motorhome):

   For caravan or motorhome use, the unit can be mounted in a window opening using the provided brackets. Secure the indoor unit inside and the outdoor unit outside, ensuring the connecting hose passes through the window opening without kinks.

3. Power Connection:

   Once positioned, connect the power cable to a suitable 230V power outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and can handle the unit's power consumption (1025 Watts).

Operating Instructions

The Eurom AC3501 can be operated via its integrated control panel or through the Eurom Smart App via Wi-Fi.

Control Panel Overview:

• Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
• Mode Selection: Cycle through cooling, fan-only, and dehumidifier modes.
• Temperature Adjustment (+/-): Set the desired temperature. The integrated thermostat will maintain this temperature.
• Fan Speed: Adjust the fan speed (low, medium, high).
• Timer Function: Program the unit to turn on or off at a specific time.
• Wi-Fi/App Control: Connect the unit to your Wi-Fi network and control it remotely using the Eurom Smart App. Refer to the app's instructions for pairing.

For optimal cooling, ensure windows and doors are closed in the area where the unit is operating. The unit has a cooling capacity of 3500 BTU, suitable for spaces up to approximately 24 m³.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your air conditioner.

• Cleaning the Pre-Filter: The unit is equipped with a pre-filter to capture dust and large particles. This filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks, depending on usage).
  1. Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning.
  2. Locate and remove the pre-filter (refer to the unit's diagram for exact location).
  3. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it gently with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
  4. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, ideally in its original packaging.
