1. Important Safety Information
For safe and proper use of your HOTEEL 10x20 Pop-Up Canopy Tent, please observe the following guidelines:
- Always assemble and disassemble the tent strictly according to the instructions provided in this manual.
- Secure the tent firmly to the ground using the provided stakes and wind ropes. This is especially critical in windy conditions to prevent damage or injury.
- Do not use the tent in severe weather conditions, including heavy rain, strong winds, lightning, or snow. Disassemble and store the tent if adverse weather is expected.
- Keep children and pets away from the tent during assembly and disassembly to prevent accidents.
- Ensure all locking mechanisms are fully engaged before use.

3. Setup Instructions
The HOTEEL 10x20 Pop-Up Canopy Tent is designed for easy assembly, typically requiring 2-3 people and no additional tools. Follow these steps for quick setup:
- Step 1: Partially Extend the Frame. With at least two people, gently pull the folded pop-up frame outwards until it is approximately half open.
- Step 2: Attach the Top Fabric. Carefully place the top fabric over the partially extended frame. Ensure the fabric is centered and all corners are aligned with the frame's corners. Secure the fabric to the frame using any integrated fasteners (e.g., Velcro straps).
- Step 3: Fully Extend and Adjust Height. Continue pulling the frame outwards until it is fully open and locked into place. Then, adjust the legs to your desired height by sliding them out and securing the locking pins. The canopy offers 3 adjustable height positions.
- Step 4: Secure the Canopy. Once the frame is fully extended and the height is set, attach the wind ropes to the canopy corners and stake them into the ground. Fill the sandbags with sand and attach them to the canopy legs for additional stability.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Height Adjustment
The canopy frame features 3 adjustable height positions. To adjust the height, press the locking pins on each leg and slide the inner leg section up or down to the desired position. Ensure all four legs are set to the same height and the locking pins are fully engaged before use.
4.2 Stability and Wind Resistance
The HOTEEL canopy is constructed with an upgraded heavy-duty hexagonal frame and thickened cross tubes, designed to withstand winds up to 10.7 m/s. For optimal stability, always utilize the provided stakes, wind ropes, and sandbags. In breezy conditions, ensure sandbags are filled and securely attached to each leg, and wind ropes are taut and anchored.

5. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning the Fabric: The canopy top is made from 260gsm Oxford fabric with PVC coating, offering waterproof and UV-protective properties. Clean the fabric with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow the fabric to air dry completely before folding and storing to prevent mildew.
- Frame Care: Inspect the alloy steel frame periodically for any signs of damage, rust, or loose connections. Clean the frame with a damp cloth. Lubricate moving parts if necessary to ensure smooth operation.
- Storage: Always ensure the canopy fabric and frame are clean and completely dry before storing. Fold the fabric neatly and collapse the frame according to disassembly instructions. Store all components in the provided roller bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
6. Troubleshooting
- Water Accumulation on Top: The canopy is designed with a 33.5-inch height difference and a spring mechanism in the top position rod to minimize water accumulation. If water still pools, ensure the canopy fabric is taut and correctly positioned on the frame. Verify that the frame is fully extended and all height adjustments are locked evenly.
- Difficulty Extending/Collapsing Frame: Ensure no parts are obstructed or bent. Apply gentle, even pressure when extending or collapsing. If a part is stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to moving joints. Always ensure locking pins are disengaged when collapsing.
- Canopy Instability: Re-check that all stakes are firmly driven into the ground, wind ropes are taut, and sandbags are filled and securely attached to the legs. Avoid using the canopy in conditions exceeding its wind resistance rating.
