4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, tape, and any protective film.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation (at least 5 inches on all sides).
3. Clean: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker and the ice basket with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
4. Add Water: Open the top lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX water level line. Do not overfill.
5. Power On: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The indicator lights on the control panel will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your Silonn Ice Maker is simple:

1. Start Ice Making: After adding water and plugging in the unit, press the ON/OFF button to start the ice making cycle. The 'Ice Making' indicator will light up.
2. Select Ice Size: Press the SELECT button to choose your desired ice cube size: Small or Large. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
3. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin producing ice. The first batch of 9 bullet ice cubes will be ready in approximately 6 minutes. Subsequent batches may be faster.
4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the 'Ice Full' indicator light will turn on, and the ice making process will pause. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
5. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the 'Fill Water' indicator light will turn on. Add more water to the reservoir to continue ice production.
6. Stop Operation: To stop the ice making process at any time, press the ON/OFF button.

6. Maintenance

Self-Cleaning Function:

The Silonn Ice Maker features a convenient self-cleaning function:

1. Prepare: Ensure the ice basket is empty. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX line.
2. Activate: In standby mode, press and hold the SELECT button for approximately 3 seconds until the 'Self-Cleaning' icon illuminates.
3. Start Cleaning: Press the ON/OFF button to initiate the self-cleaning cycle. The unit will circulate water to clean its internal components.
4. Drain: Once the cleaning cycle is complete, unplug the unit and drain the water from the reservoir. It is recommended to drain over a sink.
5. Rinse: For thorough cleaning, especially after using cleaning solutions like vinegar (ensure to follow manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning solutions), run 1-2 cycles with fresh water and drain again before making ice for consumption.

General Cleaning:
