7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Silonn Ice Maker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Ice maker not producing ice. | No water in reservoir; 'Fill Water' indicator on. | Add potable water to the MAX line. |
| Ice basket is not completely full. | Ice accumulation blocking sensor/pusher. | Manually push ice towards the front of the basket to allow more space, or remove some ice. |
| Ice melts quickly. | Ice maker is not a freezer; ice will melt over time. | Transfer ice to a freezer for long-term storage, or allow melted ice to recycle into new ice. |
| Unit is noisy or fan not working. | Dust accumulation in fan/radiator. | Unplug and clean the air vents and radiator. If problem persists, contact support. |
| Mold or slime developing inside. | Exposure to room air; insufficient cleaning. | Utilize the self-cleaning function regularly. Consider using a mild vinegar solution for deep cleaning, followed by thorough rinsing. |
If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact Silonn Customer Support.
