2.2 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the device's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
2.3 Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button located on the top of the device until the screen illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select 'Power Off' on the screen.
2.4 Initial Configuration
Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to:
- Select your preferred system language.
- Connect to a Wi-Fi network. This is recommended for optimal performance and software updates.
- The 1-year free global mobile data plan will activate automatically upon device turn-on. No additional setup or SIM card insertion is required for this feature.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 One-Click Instant Translation
The T1 Mini features a dedicated button for instant two-way translation.
- On the main screen, select your native language and the target language.
- Press and hold the side button (often labeled with a microphone icon).
- Speak clearly into the device's microphone.
- Release the button. The device will automatically recognize the spoken language and provide a translation in the selected target language, both audibly and on-screen.
Note: Cantonese, certain Arabic accents (Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia), and Tamil accents (Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia), Icelandic, Malay, and Urdu do not currently support One-Click translation.
3.2 Offline Translation
The device supports offline translation for situations without internet access.
- Navigate to 'System Settings' > 'Offline Language Package'.
- Download up to 4 desired offline language packages. Available language pairs include Chinese, English, Japanese, French, Spanish, Korean, Russian, and German.
- Once downloaded, the device can perform translations for these pairs without an internet connection.
3.3 Photo Translation
The T1 Mini can translate text from images.
- Swipe right on the main screen to access the Photo Translation feature.
- Point the device's camera at the text you wish to translate (e.g., menus, road signs).
- Tap the screen to capture the image.
- The device will display the translated text on-screen. This feature supports 39 languages.
3.4 User Interface and Navigation
The T1 Mini features a user-friendly interface with touch-screen navigation.
- Swiping: Swipe left or right to access different features and settings.
- Swiping Down: Swipe down from the top of the screen to access quick settings like Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, font size, and screen brightness.
- Volume Control: Use the dedicated volume buttons on the side of the device to adjust audio output.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Device
Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the device. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays directly on the device.
4.2 Battery Care
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
- Do not fully discharge the battery frequently.
- If storing the device for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% before storage.

Periodically check for software updates in the 'System Settings' menu to ensure optimal performance and access to new features. Connect to Wi-Fi for updates.
