Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Dyson V15 Detect Pro.
Emptying the Dustbin:
Empty the dustbin when debris reaches the MAX fill line. Hold the vacuum over a trash bin and push the red lever to release the bin contents. Close the bin securely after emptying.
Washing the Filter:
The HEPA filter is washable. Twist the filter counter-clockwise to remove it from the main body. Wash under cold running water until the water runs clear. Squeeze and tap to remove excess water. Allow to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. An extra filter is provided for continuous use while one is drying.
Cleaning Cleaner Heads and Tools:
Periodically check cleaner heads and tools for blockages or tangled hair. The Digital Motorbar™ cleaner head is designed to de-tangle hair automatically, but occasional checks are recommended. Remove any obstructions to maintain suction power.
