3. Setup and Connection

3.1 Charging the Controller

Before initial use, fully charge the controller. The built-in 600mAh lithium polymer battery provides approximately 7-10 hours of gameplay on a full charge, which takes about 3 hours.

  1. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the controller's Micro USB charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a powered USB port on your PS4 console, PC, or a compatible USB wall adapter.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged.

3.2 Connecting to PS4/PS4 Pro/PS4 Slim

  1. Ensure your PS4 console is powered on.
  2. Connect the controller to the PS4 console using the USB charging cable.
  3. Press the Home button on the controller. The controller will pair with the console.
  4. Once paired, you can disconnect the USB cable for wireless play. The LED indicator will show the assigned player number.
  5. To connect wirelessly after initial pairing, simply press the Home button.

3.3 Connecting to PC (Windows 7/8/10)

The controller can be connected to a PC via USB cable or Bluetooth.

USB Connection:

  1. Connect the controller to your PC using the USB charging cable.
  2. The PC should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
  3. The controller will function as a wired gamepad.

Bluetooth Connection:

  1. Ensure your PC has Bluetooth enabled.
  2. On the controller, press and hold the Share button and the Home button simultaneously until the LED indicator starts flashing rapidly. This puts the controller into pairing mode.
  3. On your PC, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  4. Select "Wireless Controller" or a similar name from the list of available devices and click "Pair".
  5. The LED indicator on the controller will stop flashing and remain solid when successfully connected.

3.4 Connecting to iOS/Android Devices

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS or Android device.
  2. On the controller, press and hold the Share button and the Home button simultaneously until the LED indicator starts flashing rapidly.
  3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  4. Select "Wireless Controller" or a similar name from the list and pair.
  5. The LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid upon successful connection.

Note: This controller is not supported for use with PS5 consoles.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On: Press the Home button.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Home button for approximately 10 seconds until the controller powers off. Alternatively, if connected to a console, the controller will power off automatically after a period of inactivity.
  • Reconnecting: After initial pairing, simply press the Home button to reconnect to the last paired device.

4.2 Special Features

  • Dual Vibration: The controller features built-in dual vibration motors that provide tactile feedback during gameplay, enhancing immersion.

6.1 Connection Issues

  • Controller not connecting wirelessly:
    • Ensure the controller is charged.
    • Try connecting the controller via USB cable first to establish an initial pairing.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure the controller is in pairing mode (rapidly flashing LED after holding Share + Home).
    • Remove previous Bluetooth pairings from your device's settings and try pairing again.
  • Input lag or dropped connection:
    • Ensure there are no strong wireless interference sources nearby (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other Bluetooth devices).
    • Move closer to the console/PC/device.
    • Ensure the controller is fully charged.

6.2 Button/Stick Malfunction

  • Buttons or sticks are unresponsive:
    • Ensure the controller is charged and properly connected.
    • Try resetting the controller. Locate the small reset hole on the back of the controller (often near the L2 button). Use a thin object (like a straightened paperclip) to press the button inside for 3-5 seconds. Reconnect the controller after resetting.
    • Test the controller with another game or device to determine if the issue is specific to one application.

  • Controller not charging:
    • Verify the USB cable is securely connected to both the controller and the power source.
