Important Safety Information: Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury. Keep combustible materials at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from the front of the heater. Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug. Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the electric fireplace from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or shipping.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance from combustible materials (curtains, furniture, bedding, etc.) as specified in the safety guidelines. The unit can be used freestanding or built into an existing fireplace opening.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC grounded outlet. Ensure the outlet is not overloaded with other appliances.

Operating Instructions

Your COWSAR Electric Fireplace can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

• Power On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
• Heat Settings: Press the HEAT I/II button to cycle between 750W (Warm) and 1500W (Heating) modes. The unit can also operate with flame effect only, without heat.
• Flame Brightness: Use the DIMMER button to adjust the flame brightness through 5 levels.
• Flame Speed: Use the SPEED button to adjust the flame movement speed through 5 levels.
• Sound Selection: Press the SOUND button to cycle through the 3 available flame sounds: birdsong, ocean waves, and charcoal burning.
• Timer Function: Press the TIMER button to set the automatic shut-off timer up to 8 hours. Each press increases the timer duration.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life of your electric fireplace.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Dust Removal: Periodically vacuum or wipe dust from the air intake and exhaust vents to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
• Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it and store it in a dry, cool place, preferably in its original packaging.
