Setup

1. Battery Charging

Before first use, fully charge the 40V 2.0 AH battery using the provided charger. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet and insert the battery. 2. Guide Bar and Chain Assembly

Warning: Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before performing any assembly or maintenance to prevent accidental starting.

2. Remove the chain cover by loosening the two nuts on the side of the chainsaw.
3. Carefully uncoil the saw chain. Note the direction of the cutting teeth.
4. Fit the chain around the drive sprocket and then into the groove of the guide bar. Ensure the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (away from the chainsaw body on the top edge of the bar).
5. Position the guide bar studs through the holes in the guide bar.
6. Replace the chain cover, ensuring the chain tensioner pin engages with the hole in the guide bar.
7. Hand-tighten the two nuts. Do not fully tighten yet.

3. Chain Tension Adjustment

1. While holding the tip of the guide bar up, turn the chain tensioning screw (typically located on the side of the chainsaw) clockwise to tighten the chain.

1. Safety Precautions Before Operation
