4. Product Overview
4.1. Monitor Ports and Buttons
Familiarize yourself with the various ports and control buttons on your monitor:

- USB-C Ports (x2): Full-featured USB-C ports for power, video, and data transmission.
- Mini-HDMI Port: For video input from devices supporting HDMI output.
- 3.5mm Audio Jack: For connecting external headphones or speakers.
- Power/Back Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Press to go back in OSD menu.
- Menu Button: Press to open the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.
- "+" Button: Navigate up in OSD menu or increase value.
- "-" Button: Navigate down in OSD menu or decrease value.
5. Setup
5.1. Initial Connection
The MagicRaven portable monitor offers flexible connectivity options. Choose the method that best suits your device:
- Single USB-C Cable Connection (for full-featured USB-C devices):
Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to a full-featured USB-C port on your laptop, smartphone, or gaming console. Connect the other end to either USB-C port on the monitor. This single cable can provide both power and video signal. - HDMI + USB-C Power Connection:
Connect one end of the provided HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your device (e.g., PC, PS5/4, Xbox, Switch dock). Connect the Mini-HDMI end to the monitor's Mini-HDMI port.
Then, connect the USB-C to USB-A cable to the monitor's USB-C port and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., power adapter, laptop USB port) to provide power to the monitor.

5.2. Powering On
After connecting the monitor to your device and power source (if required), press and hold the Power/Back Button on the monitor for a few seconds until the screen illuminates. The monitor will automatically detect the input signal.
5.3. Using the Protective Cover/Stand
The included protective cover can be folded to serve as a stand, allowing you to position the monitor at various viewing angles. Simply fold the cover into a triangular shape and place the monitor into the grooves for stable support.

5.4. VESA Mounting
The monitor features standard 75x75mm VESA holes on the back, allowing you to mount it to a compatible VESA arm or wall mount (not included). Ensure the mount can support the monitor's weight and follow the mount manufacturer's instructions for installation.

6. Operating
6.1. Connecting to Various Devices
The MagicRaven monitor is compatible with a wide range of devices:
- Laptops/PCs: Connect via USB-C (full-featured) or HDMI + USB-C power.
- Mac: Connect via USB-C.
- PS5/PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch: Connect via HDMI + USB-C power. For Nintendo Switch, ensure it's connected to its dock for HDMI output.
- Smartphones: Connect via full-featured USB-C (if supported by phone).

6.2. On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
To access the OSD menu, press the Menu Button. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to navigate through options and adjust settings. Press the Power/Back Button to go back or exit the menu.
Key OSD Settings:
- Brightness/Contrast: Adjust the display's luminance and contrast levels.
- Color Settings: Modify color temperature, hue, and saturation.
- Input Source: Manually select between USB-C and HDMI inputs.
- FreeSync Premium: Enable or disable FreeSync for tear-free gaming (compatible with AMD FreeSync enabled devices).
- HDR Mode: Toggle High Dynamic Range for enhanced visual fidelity.
- Blue Light Filter: Reduce blue light emission to minimize eye strain.
- Aspect Ratio: Adjust the display aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9, 4:3).
- Volume: Control the volume of the built-in speakers or connected headphones.

7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning the Monitor
To maintain the clarity and longevity of your monitor, follow these cleaning guidelines:
- Always power off the monitor and disconnect all cables before cleaning.
- Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen and exterior surfaces.
- For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a non-abrasive, screen-safe cleaning solution. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the screen or finish.
7.2. Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the protective cover to prevent dust accumulation and scratches.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
