5.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2. Initial Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven or soft surfaces (like carpet) can affect accuracy. Ensure there are no obstructions beneath the scale.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Taking a Measurement

1. Gently step onto the scale with bare feet. The scale will automatically turn on.
2. Stand still on the platform, distributing your weight evenly.
3. Your weight will be displayed on the LCD screen. The reading will flash a few times before locking.
4. Step off the scale. The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity.

6.2. Display Indicators

The LCD display shows:

• Weight: Your current body weight in kilograms (kg) or pounds (lb).
• Temperature: The ambient room temperature in degrees Celsius (°C).
• Battery Indicator: An icon indicating the current battery level. Replace batteries when the 'Lo' indicator appears.
