5. Setup
5.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2. Initial Placement
Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven or soft surfaces (like carpet) can affect accuracy. Ensure there are no obstructions beneath the scale.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Taking a Measurement
- Gently step onto the scale with bare feet. The scale will automatically turn on.
- Stand still on the platform, distributing your weight evenly.
- Your weight will be displayed on the LCD screen. The reading will flash a few times before locking.
- Step off the scale. The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity.
6.2. Display Indicators
The LCD display shows:
- Weight: Your current body weight in kilograms (kg) or pounds (lb).
- Temperature: The ambient room temperature in degrees Celsius (°C).
- Battery Indicator: An icon indicating the current battery level. Replace batteries when the 'Lo' indicator appears.
